Tom Payne, FCCA - Managing Director
Tom has been ACCA qualified since 2012 so he has many years’ experience within the sector. He has worked with numerous clients and businesses in multiple sectors and of many different sizes, from the local electrician through to large national companies with multi-million pound turnovers.
Abaqus was set-up in order to run an accountancy business that puts clients first. Clients often say they are fed up with accountants that:
only speak to them once a year
offer them no support on important matters
can only be contacted within office hours
typically file important returns at the last minute (or even late)
delegate their account to a junior as they take on new or bigger clients.
...This is not the Abaqus way!
Our approach is to always treat every single client as an individual, and ensure they receive the service they need to achieve their ambitions and reach their full potential.
Sarah Mansell - Director
Abaqus is co-owned by Sarah Mansell, who leads the admin and business support side of the company.
Sarah joined Abaqus in December 2019 and quickly built a strong rapport with clients. In June 2022, she joined the board of the company as a director, amalgamating her business support services activities into Abaqus Limited.
Often the first person you will speak to when you contact Abaqus, Sarah ensures the smooth running of the office, monitors deadlines, manages the team's workloads, and generally keeps Tom in check!
And on a personal note…
Outside of work, Sarah loves spending time with friends and family. She also has two dogs that she enjoys walking in the countryside.
